A conical frustum is a cone with the tip sliced off parallel to the base. A common example is a lampshade or a paper coffee cup.

Slant Height

The slant height is the shortest distance along the surface of the frustum between the edge of the top circle and the edge of the bottom circle. It is calculated using the Pythagorean theorem.
